Farming is getting a bad rap in the press about environmental damage and emissions.

There is a multitude of global farmers who have developed systems that promote emission reduction, carbon sequestration and land wellness.

We want to share those ideas, experiences and outcomes.

SOIL HEALTH

Why is there currently so much interest in regenerative practices?

Weather Events

FOOD SECURITY

With more regular weather ‘events’ and rising production costs, farmers are experiencing a multitude of challenges.

By harnessing technology that unlocks opportunities to produce local renewable energy, deciphering data on how to optimise soil health and gain access to new ecosystem credits, the time is now.

PROSPERITY

From labour to fertiliser and fuel, costs are rising. Exploring how soil health improvements can reduce the dependency on expensive inputs, seeking ways to increase efficiency with data, and generating on-farm energy are available to increase the farm profit.

Weather Events

ENVIRONMENT

Market demand for carbon neutral produce is accelerating as are carbon and biodiversity credit schemes. Farmers are ideally placed to play their part in the global shift towards agroecology which benefits both the farmer and the community.

What are we doing?

We are showcasing a series of climate-smart farm projects to demonstrate how technology can create regenerative outcomes for land managers, investors and communities.

How these projects intend to help broaden understanding

By creating demonstrations of technology, techniques and approaches we intend to help start conversations, pique curiosity and provide empirical data to help inform regenerative decisions.

As well as our own Climate Smart Farms we will feature other farming enterprises’ projects and showcase some of the exciting technology and hard-learned wisdom the farming community would like to share.
